The Calving dates are getting closer. The preparations are ready, we have foaling kits which are provided by Kerensa from Trevoulter Barton Stud, which also include a very useful foal resuscitation kit Well the race is between Welland Valley Francisca aka Frankie and Kestle Buttercup aka Miss Lilly, Frankie is looking like she might be first!

Its been an exciting couple of months with the preparations of Graham and Lynn's 2nd Daughter Latesha got married to Jason Colwill on the 13th October 2012 at Poundstock Church. The Wedding reception was held in our barn (the Cow Shed), it was fantastic, the barn was empted pressure washed, painted white, 3 bays added to the exciting barn, special sheets, carpet, bar, disco, bouncy castle and new lights!!
Straight after the wedding it was all systems go to get the barn emptied, feed barriers, drinkers and bedding in ready for everybody to come in off the water logged fields for the winter. this was completed by the 15th October!!! Now a couple months in to winter, the calves have been weaned. Some of the youngsters are being halter broken ready for the showing season. But most importantly its getting closer for Miss Lilly and a few others to start calving down, she is due around the end of january early febuary. Watch this space!
