Remembrance Sunday, which falls on 11 November 2018, is part of Modern British Life, Culture and Heritage. The Poppy is the Symbol of Remembrance and Hope. It’s a day for the nation to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
The Purple Poppy is a symbol of remembrance for animals that served during wartime which can be worn alongside the traditional red one as a reminder that both humans and animals have been victims of war.
